The Marine Biological Laboratory or MBL for short was founded in 1888 as an international center for education and research in the medical field and sciences. MBL is located in the Cape Cod village of Woods Hole, Massachusetts. It is home to many Nobel Prize winners, and other honors and awards given to laboratory researchers.
